Why Blog

Despite what some people might tell you, a blog is just as important as social media for a small business.

Actually ...✨ blogging is more important than social media for, amongst other things, collecting leads and driving sales to small business.

There I said it.

Throw any argument you like at me ...

I've heard every reason under the sun why social media is more important than a blog to attract customers who are ready to buy.

Well, here's the thing.

It's doubtful your next customer will cruise on in to FB or its little brother, IG, to find the solution to their problem. They're going to open up Safari on their phone or pop on to Google and do a search along the lines of, "Hey Siri, where can I find a ......?" or "how do I ....?" or "where can I buy ....?".

In fact, according to Jumpspot via Sparktoro, 94% of internet searches happen on Google .... and .... 👇🏼

According to HubSpot, marketers who are consistent with blogging are 13 times more likely to get a positive ROI.

THIRTEEN TIMES MORE LIKELY!!! 🤯

There are thousands of case studies about why brands need blogs, with years of research backing it up.

Sure, some brands can grow wealth by using social media, but eventually, even they turn to blogs, and understandably so.

A blog is a way to get large quantities of content up and running, where it can be indexed by Google and where you can control it.

The sooner you start blogging, the better.

Your blog content will be evergreen, and if you pop back on to your blogs in months, or even in years to come, and do a minor update/edit, Google will think you're an excellent little website blogger and push your website up in search.

And here's where the real ✨✨magic happens .... an omnichannel integrated communications tactic. Say what???

It means to blog and then repurpose it in detail different formats/designs ... and post it to 👉🏻 social media.
