Liking and engaging on Facebook Business Pages as your Facebook Business Page increases brand awareness for YOUR brand.
You can refer to Liking other Facebook Business Pages and engaging with their posts, as your Facebook Business Page, as a tactic in your organic marketing TO INCREASE BRAND AWARENESS ... because the Admins and Moderators of other Pages could be your next paying customer or they could refer you to a potential customer. PLUS, their followers will see your comments in their posts!
Organic marketing is a strategy that generates traffic to your business over time rather than using paid methods (Hubspot) ... . .
.... . . . and with Facebook Ads costs getting more expensive, attracting visitors to your brand and product offerings through organic marketing makes good business sense, especially in the startup stage of your business when creating brand awareness must be your number one priority.
BUT WHERE DO YOU START? WHERE DO YOU FIND FACEBOOK PAGES TO LIKE AND ENGAGE WITH?
An easy place to start organic marketing is by joining and engaging in Facebook Groups where your target market and competitors reside.
A lot of these Facebook Groups allow self-brand promotions. I'm in quite a few of these groups and most of them encourage the promotion of your Facebook Pages in 'follow for follow threads'.
All you do is scroll through the Comments section to find Facebook Business Pages that you're interested in and give that Page a Like. However, when you do this you are Liking as your personal profile.
Liking as your personal profile doesn't directly help create brand awareness for your business.
If you want to up your game in organic marketing, you should be Liking and engaging in other businesses Facebook Pages from your Facebook Business Page ... and this is how you do it when you're not participating in those Facebook Group post threads.
Click on the Facebook Business Page you want to Like.
Like the Page from your personal profile .... then...
Click on the 3 dots below the profile header, next to the magnifying glass icon on the left hand side.
Scroll down to Like as your Page and click on that link.
A pop up will show with a drop down menu containing all the Facebook pages you own or moderate. Select your Page.
Consider immediately engaging with their posts and leave purposeful comments that their other followers will see ... from your Facebook Business Page and also give that post a Like from your personal profile too.
Remember: organic marketing isn't just about increasing brand awareness with your target market. It's also about building positive relationships with like-minded business people, and one of the easiest places to start is by joining Facebook Groups and jumping into their Facebook thread posts.

Log in to Facebook
Click on Pages in the left hand side menu
Click on your Page
In the menu on the left hand side, scroll down to the bottom and click on Settings
In the menu on the left hand side, click on People and Other Pages
In the drop down menu, you will see People Who Like This Page, People Who Follow This Page, and Pages That Like This Page
