Starting a business is exciting and it's especially exciting for you, dear lady entrepreneur, because you love learning + you have a need for achievement + you are intellectually curious + you are open to new experiences.
Without further adieu, check out why it's a good time to say "fuck you" to your boss and live your life on your own terms.
You get to call all the shots. Nobody else is going to set the rules. But (there's always a but, but that's alright with you because you have a curious mind) ...... when you have a team of people helping you build your enterprise if you all sit around together and make up the rules together, everyone will abide by the rules. It's because of ownership concept (I just made that up) but here's the thing ... a real thing ... if you own something then you value it more (and we'll get into that when I teach you how to price your product/service for maximum profit).
You get to decide whether or not you'll stay in bed for the morning and read 🔗 THESE BOOKS (coming soon ... I'm writing a review on the books that have helped me).
You make your own money and can spend it on whatever you want.
You decide on how you're going to spend your time — going to your child's band recital? No problem, you'll be there. Day spa for the morning? You're all booked in! Writing a blog post? Yes, this afternoon after I finish commenting on someone else's blog post.
You set your deadlines. No more last-minute rushing, unless you want to.
You get to sell your offering how you want to sell it. On a website? On a landing page? On social media? On Facebook challenges and/or webinars? In a bricks & mortar store? At the markets? At trade shows? Through strategic alliances? Heck, you might want to sell it via outdoor advertising, through strategic partnerships, party-plan, or at a school fete?
You get to create your own internal culture. You get to align your values with your business values. Yes, you get to choose to work on something you value. And you get to decide how you will instil those values into every lovely crevice of your business.
You get to choose who you surround yourself with every day. That's right! You get to hire your staff ... no more putting up with so and so at the coffee machine in your 9-5.
You get an extra hour or even more every day because you don't have to commute to an office if you don't want to.
You can work from home if you want to. You can work out of a coffee shop if you want to. On a deckchair with the soft tropical breeze caressing your skin? You can work anywhere you like.
You get to create the systems and procedures, so you know exactly what's going on.
You don't ever have to be a 'yes' person anymore to please a boss.
You get to be the boss.
You can wear whatever you want wherever you want.
You can do whatever you want to your physical appearance. Pink hair today? A new tattoo?
You get to hand your credit card to the cashier, and you know for sure it won't get declined. Phew ... dinner on the table for the kids tonight.
You can buy your family and the people you love holidays in the sun.
You don't have to wait for your annual holiday accumulation. You can take holidays whenever you want.
You get to decide if you will work on your holidays.
You don't have to set the alarm if you don't want to (but you still have to make your bed as soon as you get up, sorry).
You get to pursue your passion. 'nuff said ... no no read on.
You have the pleasure of creating something 'real' from your mind. You think up an idea (or you steal an idea ... that's okay btw), you take that idea and really and truly make it real.
You get to feel intrinsic joy every day because you're helping people with the product or service you provide/
You can stay up all night if you want to.

You will perfect the art of storytelling by telling your story through your brand.
You get to become an expert, and you even get to become the thought leader in your chosen field.
You learn the importance of personal development, and you get to do it whenever you want.

You will fulfil you!
There’s nothing stopping you from leading the life of an entrepreneur. Ask yourself, what’s really keeping you from being an entrepreneur? Of course there are risks, but if you don't take risks everything will always be the same. Nothing will change!
Take the leap. And so what if you fail. I have failed. We all fail. The greatest entrepreneurs of all time, in every industry, have failed countless times. Failures show us clearly what doesn't work. Failures show us what we don't know and what we need to learn. Failures make us stronger. More resilient.
Always know that for every win, there'll be a 100 losses. Nothing is perfect. The future is always uncertain. If we never try to follow our dreams and create a clear vision in our minds for the future, we will always settle for the ordinary. The ordinary is so darn boring, don't you think?
Here's some homework for you .... choose 5 things from this list and write them down on separate pieces of paper. I know you'll choose nice paper because you like aesthetic things. When you choose your 5 Reasons To Start Your Own Business, don't use the word "You" to start the sentence, use the word "I" and rephrase the reason into a gratitude statement. Here are some examples:
"I am grateful that I don't have to commute to work everyday."
"I am grateful for my financial independence."
"I am grateful for the clever and supportive staff I have surrounded myself with."
"I am grateful that I get to inspire those I love."
"I am grateful and ever so thankful that I have a fulfilling life."
Now take those 5 gratitude pieces of paper and stick them around your house where you will see them everyday. Then ... when you see them, read them 👌🏼.
Your destiny is waiting for you!
