Learn New Skills

Updated: Apr 12, 2021

I believe you can learn any skill in ten days. ⁣

And I pretty much guarantee if you practise that skill every day for another ten days, you’ll get good at it. ⁣

If you dedicate another ten days to refining that skill, this will be the result ....⁣

... you’ll be proficient and fast at implementing this skill in your work 💫 ⁣

If you apply this 10 day reasoning to learning a new skill, it will take you one month only to upskill. ⁣

By the end of the year, you will have an toolkit of skills tucked neatly and strategically in your business belt ....⁣

... saving you the outsourcing expenses and the anxiety expense of not truly knowing if these outsourcers (or employees) are doing a proper job. ⁣

If you’re wondering what I’m talking about, here’s an example: ⁣

Graphic design ... you can do an Udemy course for a sweet $10 and learn Adobe Photoshop in 10 days. Within another ten days, you’ll be pretty darn good at it [even if you think you have no design skills and aren’t the creative type]. ⁣

Practice your design skills for another ten days (say for 2 hours a day), then for the next ten days, create real art for your business. BOOM!⁣

Here are examples of other skills you can learn and get pretty darn good at within 30 days .... ⁣

  • ✍️ copywriting⁣

  • 🎥 video editing⁣

  • 📸 product photography ⁣

  • 👄 public speaking⁣

  • 🧲 lead gen & funnels & FB Ads⁣

  • 🧮 balancing your books/tax law/invoicing⁣

  • 📨 email marketing software⁣

  • 👊 any software as a service (SaaS)⁣

  • 📚 speed reading⁣

  • 🖥 building your website⁣

  • 💡 sales psychology ⁣

  • 🧑‍💻 digital marketing⁣

.... these skills are EASY to learn.... Why do you think so many people have learnt these skills, practised them and started a business around one of these skills.⁣

👉🏼Does any one or even two skills guarantee you success in your business? Nope.

👉🏼Does learning guarantee feelings of accomplishing? YES. ⁣

👉🏼Does learning new skills make you wiser in your decision making? ABSOLUTELY. ⁣
